“Did you wake up on the drama side of the bed today?” – Todd after Sarah was being a queen of sorts
“What is it? Sue-icks Falls” – Todd when trying to pronounce Sioux Falls, South Dakota
“I like the Super Centers.” – Sarah when discussing camping preferences, because it seems that WalMart is the only free place to camp out in America these days.
“I thought Kentucky had blue grass when I was a kid.” – Todd during a discussion of the state’s greenery
“This trip is changing me. I am nibbling my Wendy’s like it’s a delicacy.” – Sarah while taking over half an hour to eat her dinner of sandwich and fries
“No, I do not know think so.” - Me – I replied after a woman commented that she knew someone in Florida and she said “I don’t know if you know him or not.”
“I don’t know if I want to do this anymore.” – Sarah – 30 minutes into our road trip after learning that I had not planned any places for us to stay for the duration of our trip, including night #1.
“The state of America” – Me- after seeing a chair lift ($9) that takes people to a scenic view instead of a 1/2 mile hike.
“Oh! Look at that tree.” – Sarah – every few minutes when we are hiking.
“I’ve always wanted to do that.” - Me – after walking into a gas station in West Virginia with my shirt off and not feeling too awkward.
“Was that a man or woman?” – Sarah – after seeing a man or a woman.
“I think I am okay for right now.” - Sarah – every time I ask if she wants to climb (except once, in which she made it to the top!)
